Replacing an Onan generator is quite expensive, and it seems you may have hit on a way to minimize that expense. If the u-tube video is of your install, it is fairly quite. I would be interested in knowing more about it. I know that there a number of older MHs that the generator has really died and there is no replacement available. A safe, quite, inexpensive alternative would be of interest to many. If you leave, you leave, don't let others chase you off. If you are with a Band, you should be use to hecklers.
