the alarm thing has been discussed before...I'd thought perhaps adding a relay for louder siren, light, etc.
but I have posed a question to NEST, asking if their alarms can be directly ( no wifi, no internet)paired to iphone ( or android) so that the phone will vibrate if alarm is triggered.
we'll see what they say.
