replacement waste water vent cap
any suggestions for a new vent cap that is insect proof or modification to make a vent cap insect proof? Doug

Anything you put/push INSIDE the vent tube will eventually become clogged with debris/insects whatever. Screen material will work well but make sure you attach a string or some other method to ensure you'll be able to remove it to clean when it's necessary. I'd measure the outside diameter of your vent tube, then get a PVC coupling and place the screen inside that and press it into place. Then if it becomes necessary, simply pull it off and clean/replace it.....Dennis
