Nope it is only 1972.
Floor covering is also climate thing.
In San Francisco area hardwood floors are consider upscale flooring and I have seen them (and laminates) even in bathrooms and kitchens.
I am researching Las Vegas market and it would be a challenge to find upscale house with anything other than stone or tile.
My Prevost had perfectly straight floors, where floor is bearing shearing forces on unibody, yet it was covered with carpet.
Than again, it was 1972.
I did own one motorhome with white carpets, but it was DP. Can't imagine something like that around doghouse.
