I am sorry to read of another owner falling victim to this. It seems inevitable that rigs made this way will succumb to it if the owner does not take paranoid preemptive strikes against it, an unreasonable requirement for ownership.
Every class C should be made with a seamless cab-over bucket like this.
But brand new rigs are still being made with cab-over seam work like the 2015 Coachman Freelander. The savings from not using a bucket is
"Never" worth it, but the RV industry is obviously not convinced. They'd rather sell this substandard practice to unsuspecting buyers.
