Replacing motor in Lippert slide

The other post reminded me of the set screw on the OUTSIDE. You must get the room out at least 6 to 10 inches to remove the outside screw. THAT screw is what keeps the motor from rotating and keeps it DOWN in its holder. I assumed you had already removed that screw somehow. if you look at the outside seal about 4 inches down from the top you will see a silver square headed screw head. That screw MUST be removed.
