  • I installed the Samsung RF197 and it easily passed through the door with about a 1/4" of clearance. It was surprisingly light with the doors off and the shelving removed so two of us were able to carry it onboard. I did need to remove the passenger's seat to pass it into the main cabin area. Good luck.

If you boondock often I would add two more batteries to help power it and it runs well on MSW power because the compressors are DC, not AC power. Another best upgrade ever although I went with a 21 CuFt Whirlpool that came within 1/2" of height fitting perfectly in the 1200 hole. I added a PSW inverter as it has a AC compressor and had to take the driver's side window out to get it in.
  • When we did mine going through the door was problamic with the curved staircase but it was just as easy...perhaps more so by popping out dining room window. 4 guys and just a few minutes was all it took.
  • Sounds like it will fit, but you'll just need some strong people and coordination. :)
  • I took my door frame off and laid a hall rug down, laid the frig on it's side and slid it up myself. I've been RVing for 40 yrs. and one of the best things I've done.
  • I purchased Samsung counter depth refer, removed the doors and came in the door with out any problems. The counter depth refers are not as deep so as to not stick out as far. Runs fine on modulated sine wave inverter, best upgrade ever. Good luck with your installation, if you have any questions feel free to PM me; Keith
  • my clearences were the same and all worked well. you have to take the leveler feet off the bottom of unit and unlatch your rv door open all the way. we had one man take fridge in side walking backwards up steps then he layed on his back on drivers fully reclined capts chair. we then passed fridge on top of him turning into coach then to upright position. it is a tight squeeze but it doable. good luck OILCAN.
  • Sounds like you have a whopping 3/16" clearance. What's to worry!? Does the door swing fully open (90 degrees) or is that going to restrict your clearance. I know a number of RVers have brought there new fridge in the front door so I would suspect that you should be able to get it in just fine.
