Rest Stop Shenanigans

To answer a few of the questions....
First, I would have never got out of the Coach if I didn't feel safe as there were a lot of regular people coming and going. My co-pilot stayed behind to watch things.
I like to use the rest area facilities as I need to get out and stretch my legs anyway (and yes, we have a bath and a half).
As I exited the coach, the guy was not near me, he had already started walking back to a semi-truck and I was walking straight ahead to the facilities.
I have no idea what they were going to do. After he told me about a guy winning the lottery...blah blah blah..... it rung a bell of me reading about a similar incident here that was a scam.
My mistake was not calling 911 or the CHP, I really didn't think about doing that as I just told the guy NO and off I went to the bathrooms . The guy never bothered me again. I walked back to the Coach and off we went.

I think it's good to bring this up for others who have not heard about or seen this happen. Reading it here a while back on RV.net made me much more aware.
