Thank you 1492. It's no big deal to me. I just wanted folks opinion on something. Tommy. - 1492ModeratorIn the future, you can always send PM to the forum's moderator if you have a question as to why a topic was closed/deleted.

Perhaps I broke a rule or something with my survey, but I'm very confused why the thread was closed.
Though I'm not speaking on behalf of my fellow Mods, it looks as if the thread had a high number of deleted posts due to trolling reply comments.
There is only so much time that can be dedicated to monitoring any one thread. In which case, it makes sense just to close the thread at some point. - 2oldmanExplorer II

I missed it Tommy! I would have liked to read it! Last thread that I seen that was closed the OP was posting about traveling with handguns. That and giving out web addresses is a no no on this site.
All: I have no idea why that thread was closed. Those of you that answered I want to thank you.
Perhaps I broke a rule or something with my survey, but I'm very confused why the thread was closed.
Again Thank you.

Well, I don't think anyone did any of that. Oh well. It was interesting though. :)
For the benefit of those who missed: That Thread
I can only guess the reason for closing the topic was the overwhelming number of replies in the "NO WAY" column - which indeed includes MY vote. This time I'm siding with the moderator... ...Enough was Enough! - JimM68ExplorerBefore it does...
Not a chance in ach EE double hockey sticks. Mechanics are worth $50/hr absolutely tops, and most are worth way less than that. - rockhillmanorExplorer IIWell get ready for the other shoe to drop.........
it's against the forum rules to reopen a thread that has been closed! :W
This one should poof any time now. - aeejbeExplorer II
