Revolution tail lights

I replaced the back up light on left side last year. Over 300.00.
You cannot buy just the lens from factory.
Who makes them and who sells them?
I've spent a lot of time over the months and longer perusing the Internet with no success.
  • They are from the Hella catalog. They're kinda common on European coach buses, but also found their way into other RVs including my former Weekend Warrior (mine used the reds only).
  • What year and model of Revolution? The lights change from year to year and model to model - whatever they can get cheap (for them anyways).

    On my 2005 Fleetwood 39S Excursion, they're off a Chevy pick-up truck.

Had the same problem with a front turn light. Had to buy one from Fleetwood to identify it. If I need another, they were kind enough to ship it in the mfg's box with part numbers and all on it.........

  • In 2004, my 1994 Bounder tail light assembly had rusted out and was beyond repair. Only light that worked was the brake light. I'd spent several leisurely months driving around the countryside after buying that RV and occasionally I'd stop in at small out of the way RV dealers looking for a replacement. Well, one day, I stopped at a 'boat shop' of all places in Milton-Freewater Oregon. And darn if they didn't have the entire backup, running, brake light assembly, for my RV! Cost me $25.

The point is, there's almost always a replacement out there somewhere. And if you're able to limp along with what you have, searching out of the way places for RV parts is not only fun, it's sometimes rewarding.

Look for the DOT number or other numbers on the lens. Google searching on them may be helpful in determining what else they're used on. The headlight assemblies on our 2001 coach for example, were used on the 91-96 Chevy Caprice, and the tail lights were used on 73-91 Chevy or GMC pickups. I found that out from the numbers on the lenses.
  • Same goes with the plastic swivel lever on my Captains chair by flexsteel. I do not need the cable however they tell me it is the only way............Help us
