road construction on I 85
how bad is road construction on I85 from Virginia to charolette nc.

no big issues with I-85. from petersburg to NC line one short 1 mi one lane. I drove it yesterday down to durham, in NC the stretch from mm 233 to about 222 was one lane but they have opened the N bound lanes so as soon as the jersey barriers are removed should be 2 lanes SB open. Henderson area has some one lane traffic. south of Falls lake there is a stretch of 1 lane.
Nothing to make me want to go on another route.
one lane is 55 or 60 and traffic was moving right along.
I would avoid as much of I-95 as possible.
