Roadmaster inc.

Monday I called Roadmaster to see if they would rebuild my very old tow bar, After many years this old tow bar was worn beyond belief. The young lady told me it would be $75. if I handed it to them or $150 If I shipped it. So, we decided to run it down to them.
We left Oak Harbor 3:00 PM Tuesday, drove thru Seattle's 5:00 PM traffic south bound, it was slow but moving all the way south of Olympia. Returning north bound Wed. at noon traffic was moving 60-65 all the way.
We arrived Vancouver Wa. at 9:30 PM found a place to park on their manufacturing site, and at 7:00 this morning We handed them the old tow bar. 2 hours later they handed it back, inspected and repaired as required to make it like new again ($75) and we were on our way home.
Great company to deal with, they upgraded our old bar to the new type, replaced all the old worn parts Now it looks and acts like a new one.

Never hesitate to buy a ROADMASTER :)
  • Roadmaster serviced ours at the FMCA Rally in Springfield MA. You don't even have to make an appointment. They come through where the RV's are parked and put a note on it or clean it right there. Great company!
  • Yes, mine came off of Craig's List, I think I'm the third owner. They don't question the past history at all.

They build many other items besides tow bars. plus they have a huge powder coating oven.

To start with, all the bushings, and nonmetallic parts, then they upgraded the old arms that were the type that only extend 45 degrees, to the type that will open to 180 degrees.
Did I tell ya i bought this old bar off e-bay in 09. they didn't care where I bought it. It was their product, they rebuilt it.

  • They also have a team a Quartzsite to service them. Have had them inspect mine, but it was always found to be in good condition - what parts were worn / replaced on yours?

We have also dealt with Roadmaster and been very impressed with the company and the way they stand behind their products.
