First be sure filters are clean. There should be two settings. Fan speed, and the thermostat. To get though this trip, set fan speed on high. Set thermostat so the compressor kicks off at about 75 degrees. Give that a try and see if that stops the icing.
Theoretically these shouldn't ice up. But they often do. Be sure filters are clean. Be sure there is good airflow and cold air doesn't immediately recycle back through AC unit via missing duct tape or bad duct work. Sometimes no matter what you try they'll ice up on occasion.
