Mine is aluminum. 13 years old and not a sign of damage or leak, it shines like new after waxing. Some say it if noisier when it rain but I bearly hear anything over than normal. The seams are like new, still strongly glued to the top.
I had a fiberglass roof on my Bigfoot TC, it was noisier than my MH but the roof was not as thick. It also kept very clean and no signs of wear after 7 years, shined like new.
