Like you I'm in the market for a new roof on our 1996 Georgie Boy Cruisemaster. I spoke with an RV shop in Sanford, Florida and they gave me a ballpark estimate of $5,000. They said that did not include the cost of replacing the roof vents, skylight and any damaged plywood. This price was given for a 34 foot motorhome. The new roof could be for one of those spray on materials. Not sure I want that type. I will be happy with just a new rubber roof.
The price you have from Camping World, $2000, sounds too cheap. Make sure you ask what that price includes and what IS NOT included in the price.
I'll be following this thread because I sure others on the forum will give you some great advice.
