- romoreExplorer III have traveled from Glendive to Great Falls, it is quite scenic. You won't have any problems. Lewiston is a neat town.
- dons2346ExplorerBeen there, done that. No problem.
- TrapExplorerHighway 87 through Lewiston and Roundup is one of our favorite prairie drives we've ever done, some really beautiful country. While we never did it with a Class A, it was no problem with our 36' 5'er and I would hesitate to do the drive with our new 44' Class A
- BigSkyBobExplorerGo for it folks. Absolutely no issues on this route for your 40' rig.
- mowermechExplorerI make that trip frequently (we have a daughter and SIL and three grandkids in Great Falls), plus it is the nearest commissary/exchange.
I usually take 87 to Eddie's Corner, then 191 South to Harlowton, 12 to Lavina, and State 3 to Billings. I have done it in our Class A, towing the Jeep. No problem.
By the way, it is Lewistown in Montana. I think Lewiston is in Idaho. - PSU_fanExplorerThanks to all of you!
We followed mowermech's route and found it to be a very good route.
