- rickwellmanExplorerThanks again
- msmith1199Explorer IIYou can go back south and take 145 over to 99, or go on North up to Mariposa and take 140 over to 99. Don't get off on any of the other side roads as most everything else will be narrow bad roads up there.
- rickwellmanExplorerYes I was on here earlier. But had a change of plan. I will be at coarse gold for 4 days and then headed to ukiah on 101. Probably should go back to 99. Thanks

Click that link and you can see a section of Highway 49 you'll be driving on to get from Oakhurst to 120. I'd do it, but as you can see there are hairpin turns and steep grades. - msmith1199Explorer III assume you mean Route 49? And yes, it's a good road but weren't you also the one posting on other topics about grades and curves? Highway 49 has some grades and curves, especially the part between 132 and 120. Everybody was telling you before to go from Yosemite on 120 to go down to 99 and take it north to Tahoe. The section of road you would have avoided by doing that is just as bad as the section of road you will hit on 49 going to 120.
