- ill give it a shot on my truck if i get it back. it looked like an interesting process with the mineral spirits thinning.
i loved the gloss finish at the end. - I've rattle can spray painted 3 cars, many years ago. I wouldn't want to paint a whole motorhome with a roller though.
I had a neighbor once who painted his whole truck with a brush. It was horrible. cdl2 wrote:

Your's looks good. - Spraying Rustoleum is a somewhat common technique for the DIYer.

Thanks for the link. Like you, there is no way I'd paint a whole car that way, let alone a entire rv....too much labor. But at the top of that link, he mentions that another paint now used by some for cars. A one part expo designed for marine use, that is a paint I might consider to re-do a few graphics.- If the painted surfaces were later wet sanded, compounded, and buff polished, there is no way that you could tell if it was put on with a roller, brush, or spray rig.

Does the OP want to paint over the gel-coat with paint or, apply a clear coating as a gel-coat?
Does Rust-Oleum make a clear product that can be applied with a roller?
Hopefully the OP will come back with more details and explain the question?
