A foam roller and Rustoleum can actually make for a surprisingly good finish if done carefully. A little bit of googling will give details. Most people seem to thin it down a good bit with mineral spirits. Assuming it sticks properly to the existing finish, which I don't know if it would, I really don't think it would lower the value of the RV at all if done nicely. You don't have to tell any potential buyer you painted it in Rustoleum with a roller.
If I were attempting this, I would consider getting catalyst (and maybe paint) from Tractor Supply or wherever else it's sold. That makes for a harder finish.
