Rust-oleum paint roll on rv

There are some video's out there that show the technique painting the hull of a boat. When finished you wouldn't even know it was done that way had you not been told. A friend of mine did his boat, quite amazing of the results. It looked like it had been sprayed on. Now he didn't use Rustoleum but a boat paint instead with a foam roller. Can't remember the name of the paint though.
