RV Battery

I give up. My Class A Ford battery is dead. I was having a problem iwith my battery dying in storage, so I brought it in to an auto parts store and found out it was weak. Installed the new battery and after a month in storage, no power. I’m parked at home and plugged into 30amp power. Why is my battery losing power?
  • A parasitic load is draining your battery. Install a knife switch to disconnect the battery in storage.
  • What class A ford chassis motorhome do you have ? They are all different and use or in many cases DONT use a charging method for the chassis battery when plugged in . All charge the house battery but the chassis battery gets its charge ,if yours is equipped, with a echo type device that charge the chassis if the house are above a certain level .
