  • There are driving techniques that lead to better fuel efficiency...reducing speed is the biggest one IMO.

    That's the nice thing about a Class A.. You do indeed burn a lot of fuel when you drive it.. but when you 'Drop' the towed and run to the store, or church, or attraction, or dinner, or _______. you sip (Modern cars 30-40 MPG or more) v/s the far far greater consumption of the big honking Pick up you tow yoru 5er with.

    Yep, that's why some of us travel in a RV and others travel in a Toyota Prius.

    But, a large RV that gets Prius mileage is a nice thought. :)

  • The first class C I wanted to buy, DH asked what kind of mileage it got. I told him if he was going to worry about the mileage, I'd drop the idea immediately. It's about comfort, not fuel efficiency.
