Yes, it's a wall hugger, but it does need to be out from the wall about an inch though.
After we got it inside the camper, I put 6 castor wheels on the bottom of the frame so we can move it around. We like to turn it cross wise in the living room, directly in front of the television on the back window. The slide is empty then giving nice passage.
I also put a couple floor hooks in the slide and use a ratchet type strap to secure it when traveling, so it won't roll around. Works very well for us.
I studied the couch out very carefully before purchasing to make sure it would go through the door. It had to go in, standing on it's end. 2 people outside lifting straight up and I was on the inside pulling straight up. Once the top end was I the door, the bottom could be pushed on up. Once inside, turned it 90 degrees and lowered it. It was a little tight, but the cushions on the arms had lots of give.
If we ever sell the camper, the couch is coming back out and the original furniture is going back in. Original furniture is in storage at our home right now. That couch is better than the one in our house.
