RV GPS??

Good morning, so what's everyone using for their rv gps?? Iv tried to research on line, a good onebut all the user reviews are not good. Either the software is good but hardware is poor. Or the software takes you all over the planet to get to your destination?? Please let me know if you've found a good one! Thank you, Lee
  • We use a Garmin 2589 LMT, 2497 LMT, and a 550. Also a box of paper maps. Routes are done on the computer with Garmin's Mapsource then up loaded to the GPS. Sometimes they try to recalculate the route different then we had planned. That's one reason for the paper maps hi lighted route with post its.

Did you search this Forum for `gps' or Google online? Lots of discussion on this Forum. Our Garmin `dezl 760LMT' seems to work for us but it is not perfect but neither is my personal navigation.

X1, I especially like the large screen which makes it very easy to read while driving and the ability to use the voice command feature while actually driving.

  • I'm using the Garmin RV 770 and I also bought the wireless camera that is an option for that GPS. The GPS works fine and has a large database for RV parks, etc. I installed the camera right above my fuel fill door so by pushing a button I can now see when I am perfectly aligned to the fuel pump. With lifetime updates, it is a great combo for my uses.
  • I'm using the newer Garmin 770. Seems to be doing just fine for us. I also run waze on my phone while driving but that's a personal decision. I use it for notifications of road hazards more than anything.
