Why is there not a "craigslist" type forum where we could go to post RV-camping only items we wish to sell? Most of the items we have are specifically for our RVing family.

Exactly! Bingo! They want you to purchase from Camping World (supplies, parts, and RV's), they don't want competition from private individuals. They might loose a potential sell. And I most certainly understand.
There are other places, including CL that is designed for just what you're asking about.
If you owned a gas-service station, how would you feel if someone put up a booth on your property where people could swap, pretty much, any automotive item they may have? What would that do to YOUR sales?
