my first run in was on my 67 ford. their write up panned them because they didn't have padded sun visors, which at that time was sold as a safety measure. I ordered mine and paid $4.00 or so at the time for the padded visors as an option.
in 72 they had an article on boats and fussed because a hard chine had a rougher ride than a soft chine. D'OH.
I've got 42 more years of stuff. if I want to find out about something I look in a magazine dedicated to that product.
any appliance rated is either obsolete by the time the article is published or doesn't take into account the true price/cost.
