I researched the mobile hotspot and the general consensus is the hotspots tend to go offline a lot and have to be reset. My motorhome storage is 75 miles from home. Long ways to go to reset it. Also, this camera is a one piece unit. No need for a hotspot in the middle.
You need to find someplace closer! :) The only reason mine is currently so far away is because it is where I plan on moving in about six months. I had the motorhome stored close to home, but while we were up looking for a new house I came across the storage units that were brand new. The guy only had two left and they were going fast. So I went ahead and got it, even though for the next six months it's 75 miles away. It will work out well because it's 1000 sf total space so my motorhome takes up less than half the space. So for the next six months I'll be moving stuff up there and into storage to make the eventual move to a new house that much easier.
