Interested to know how many use "liquid" black water treatment vs ready made "drop in" packets. Also would like to know which brand you recommend and which brand seems to have the longest odor elimina...

And that is the issue. Members here aren't saying that their black tank isn't putting off strong, terrible odors. They are saying that with proper venting and maintenance, they don't deal with smelling all those oders. And that is how the system is designed. To not have to smell those oders.
I agree 100% however there is no so called proper venting on BT.There is but one vent out the roof. If the tank is not treated and its 1/2 or 2/3 full in warm weather chances are pretty good you may experience some unpleasant odours coming from such vent so I find using a good chemical on top of proper rinsing etc helps eliminate those things. just my opinion others will vary
