We have been doing this for a long time and stopped having problems the first season when we learned .... MORE WATER.... If you think you are using too much use more.
The other rules apply like poop, pee, toilet paper and water, nothing else!
Newer RVs have sensors outside the tank and do not get covered with stuff like the older prob that stick into the tank.
Use more water!!!!
