While diesel in not currently "way more" than gas, the history of diesel pricing has been higher than gas and often by as much as 60 cents a gallon. During the Winter heating season it is almost always higher than gas. Personally, I would not make that a big consideration when purchasing something that costs as much as an RV. More important is ride comfort and handling (gas vs. diesel) and floor plan, floor plan, floor plan. Buy the RV that fills your needs the first time.
