It's really nice to do your laundry in the RV for several reasons. We camp with the grandkids quite often and if they have an accident, we can clean it up immediately. We had an RZR for two years and when we would get back from riding, our clothes would be filthy. I also like to keep my coach looking nice. I'll wash and dry it several times on a trip and I can clean the towels when I'm done.
Yes, some like their W/D and some like to get it done all at once in a laundry. Everyone is different and that's great.
However, you say you actually put dirty things in your washer - kids' 'accidents', dirt riding clothes (I know how filthy they can be) and vehicle washing towels. Your dirt isn't any cleaner than someone else's dirt. :)
I fail to see what your difference is when you put dirt in your washer. Your rinse cycle isn't as long and as often as a laundramat's rinse cycle so your dirty things or washer aren't as clean as a laundramat's when finished. Washers that we use in the laundries have 2 or 3 rinse cycles and the machine is spotless when finished. We have never used a washer that still has dirt in it. The dirt is rinsed out fully.
Everyone has their own opinion and we have ours, too.
