- zmotorsportsExplorerOur 2003 Dynasty had G149's from the factory. They were five years old when we took possession of it in 2007 and 55k miles. Started to weather check and the previous owner appeared to have curb checked one pretty bad and I didn't like the looks of it. I replaced the G149's in spring 2008 with G670's. So far almost 5 years and ~27k miles with no issues and wearing good.
Mike. - uncle_tExplorerafter 2 rotations and 2 front end alignments and the third time rivering of the front tires I gave up. Fine, there are hundreds or thousands of happy campers with these tires but there are just as many unhappy campers with rivered steering tires. When I brought my coach into the tire shop the tech told me he has never replaced a G670 that wasn't rivered. must be the altitude in Reno. When you mention rivering to Goodyeart, they pretend they don't know what you're talking about. That was enough turn me off to them.
- mike_brezExplorerNo more problems for me since I ditched them and got Hankook AH11s. The GY rear blow out was enough for me.
- DabooExplorerour Winnie went 50k with the OE Goodyears..with no problems...changed off because of cracks...the only problem I had with the Goodyears, they would loose a little air between runs...constant pressure check kept them in tune other than that they were a great tire.
g - randallbExplorerDoes Don Don work for Goodyear? This smells like a PR thread to me. Especially since he does not want input from the Goodyear "hater".
Randy - w4phjExplorerMy G670's 275/70R/22.5 with a date code of 0405 and 24K miles are doing fine. I won't be going far without replacing them with AH12's.
- mdprinceExplorerSame here:
"OEM G670s, 295/80R22.5, doing fine so far."
Tires are nearly 7 years old and have 25k miles on them. I plan on replacing the two front tires before the next trip. All tires look almost new, no cracking and maybe 10 to 15% tread wear. - CresproExplorerGY 670 275/70/22.5. Seven years and 40,000 miles with no problems. Replaced with Michelin XZA Energy tires using FMCA program. Decided that the Michelins had fewer problems.
- Jeff_and_AnaExplorer15,000 on ours. Will probably replace them next year due to age. Leaning towards going with the same tires but not 100% sure yet. I am happy with the way they ride and they are wearing okay.
