Bill that's a great example of what a negative, but properly worded review should look like.

I use it all the time as well as post reviews. Positive reviews go live almost immediately while negative content usually get held for review. I have posted negative reviews and they have never failed to post. Below is probably as negative as I have ever posted. The CG was Dakota Ridge RV Park in Golden CO.

We stayed one night only 4/21 and I was quite underwhelmed. Sites are tight and I always hated the Jack & Jill sites where you face your neighbor. Naturally they put us facing someone that actually lives in the RV. She was a great lady but we simply had no patio to speak of as our neighbor occupied it. We did have a broken concrete pad that was silly petite. It is exactly as wide as the wheels and right after the concrete ends was wet mud. Not blaming the CG as they had a huge snow event just days before. However for $70 a night maybe they should have poured more generous pads. Office overcharged us as they added $10 for two children and we have no children. They claimed we said we had children which was pure bunk as we simply have never had children period. They wouldn't refund as apparently their "corporate owner" doesn't allow refunds. We camped here in a 43' motorhome and we won't be back. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are different ways to say the same thing. I see many reviews where the reviewer mentions they were treated rudely. Where they say the staff is inefficient or unhelpful. That is obviously allowed within a review. What they don't allow are statements that are derogatory, personal in nature or outright defamation. You can't say "the fat pig slob who checked me in" or "I think the manager is a drunk pedophile". You can't make statements that obviously aren't factual, such as "the clerk would have stolen my credit card information had I given them the chance."
Way too many people have taken to using review sites as their personal tool to destroy businesses and individuals they do not like. Due to this, the law regarding Liable and Slander is evolving. Review sites are finding they do have to take certain precautions to protect both themselves and the reviewers. Plus, most people want honest reviews of the goods and services they are considering, not a bunch of smack-talk about a product because it is being sold by their ex-husband, not because there is actually anything wrong with the product.

RVParkReviews guidelines

All the guidelines are pretty straightforward and logical. The link explains the review process. There's nothing that prohibits sharing negative information that will benefit other people. They give examples of useful reviews versus useless ones, both positive and negative (such as a meaningless one like "Avoid this park like the plague. I had a terrible time.")

We are currently on a trip, so I'm sending in reviews quite often. I get an almost instant email reply from them that my review will be posted soon. I just checked, and my review I sent in yesterday has posted.

As stated, I'm sure they're swamped this time of year, and they are volunteers.

I have actually found rvparkreviews to be quite helpful. It is my first 'go to' place when I'm searching for a campground. I have seen all kind of reviews good and bad about a park.

I have also critiqued serveral parks over the years with good and bad comments and my posts have been posted.

I would also imagine they are busy at this time of year.

All my reviews on rvparkreviews.com get posted pretty quickly. Keep in mind that the folks vetting the reveiws are RVers just like you. They are volunteers so they do it for our benefit, and when they have time.

And if you really are disgusted, just ask for a refund. :W

Everyone has a different threshold for disgust and honesty. Maybe the website doesn't share your threshold.

I have had no problems with my reviews being posted immediately. As others have suggested, it might be your content. You do have to be fair and specific when you give a review.
