Sacramento Valley RV for service

Sac Valley was recommended to us in an emergency situation. Came to take our motor home on a trip only to discover the Norcold refrigerator would not come on. Now know we had the recall work done 4 years earlier but apparently that safety module was causing problems, again! This was not fixable using a magnet as those of you who have had the recall done know about.

I called at 7:30 AM and left a message as SV RV doesn't open until 8AM. I was not expect a quick call back shortly after they opened so figured I would give them a chance to start their coffee, say good morning etc before calling again. Maybe about 10 after the hour. But at 8:03, a woman called. I was immediately impressed... We talked about my problem to which she said is common and they stock the necessary parts. Now this is what blew me away. She said she could have the tech be to me between 9 and 10 AM even though his schedule was pretty booked. She said they know what it's like to be trying to start a trip and have problems before ever leaving and they do everything they can to get immediate attention to people.

The tech, Kevin was here about 10:10 AM. Impressive. In less than 30 minutes he had the refrigerator running. I had happened to mention a water leak from what I thought was fresh water storage. Kevin looked at it, found the source, crawled under our class A and fixed the leak. And this wasn't even what I had called Sacramento Valley RV for. Impressed? We certainly are!!! Call them... 916-672-6100

Located in Loomis, CA just off I-80 north east of Sacramento....
  • What a difference it makes when the business only repairs RV's and doesn't sell them also. I'd sure like to pick their brain over 5th wheels; which is better than the other. They've probably seen it all and could offer up suggestions.
  • So nice to hear a positive experience with a Rv repair. We have a shop near us that Forest River allowed me to go to for all my warranty work. They are equally as impressive as the shop you found. As Ski Pro 3 said, there's a big difference when their business is fixing rvs and not selling them. Glad it worked out for you. Central Valley RV Repair if you are ever in need of help around Fresno.559-255-6188.
  • Good to hear about them and their fine service.

We travel through that area a couple times a year so I'll keep them in mind if I have a problem.

    Thanks for the post.

  • I'm in Sacramento and would also like to add the best RV body repair we've ever encountered, be it auto, truck, or RV: Rehorn RV Collision Center. Amazing work done right by this family owned business. Now we know why their reviews are so good.
