Anyone who's driven the Interstates around and through Nashville, TN knows of the curves and somewhat blind areas of road that are thrust upon you as you drive them. Driving a multi-ton coach with a toad, OR pulling a trailer doesn't make your stopping any easier when thrust upon a scene of one or more lanes of traffic at a dead stop with an accident scene. Even in broad daylight, dry roads, perfect visibility, and all the four-wheel disc brakes with anti-skid features our modern RVs have, these curves in Nashville are deadly IF you are simply driving too fast. What is too fast? NOT being able to stop IN your lane of traffic because you are rounding curves at a speed whereby you cannot stop quickly.
Keeping-up with some of the breakneck speeds that locals drive in their cars above the speed limits, is not a good idea. I think we ALL realize that an RV is an obstacle for cars to have to put up with. However, you simply must not over-drive your coach's or pick-up with 5er/TT's stopping capabilities - IF you want to motor safely.
