My most sincere condolences for your loss.. I can relate to your emotions as I lost my wife a year ago Thanksgiving morning. No one can really feel the empty feeling that comes with the grief and denial unless you've been there. I couldn't sit around the house cause the walls were closing in so I loaded up the coach with essentials and my Beagle and went to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas for a while. I knew if I didn't go give it a try alone then that I would probably sell the coach and become a sofa spud. The first year was next to impossible but with my dog to talk with and the ever friendly crowd that hangs around RV parks, I was able to make it through that most difficult year. I plan on going to YNP in July then to the Tetons where her ashes are scattered, then going south for the winter as it seems a little easier to accept the terrible loss of a life partner. Do what you feel comfortable doing but don't give up on the RV lifestyle for at least a year, then re-evaluate cause it will get a little easier.
