Thank you so much for your very sound advice. We chose to retire early for that very possibility but so far have not had to go through the loss of a spouse. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you but hang in there and take some time for before you make any decisions that you may later regret. Take care of yourself and like others have said, remember the best times you both had.
