Sincere condolences on your loss. I am really happy to hear that you started sooner, rather than later.
DH and I don't have a lot and have probably taken some trips we shouldn't have... but none of us knows how long we have. DH's dad kept putting off what he was going to do "some day". Some day never got here for him. And I see my mom sittiing at home alone, bitter about what she and dad never did.
We go whenever we can and enjoy every minute of it. Made memories with the grandkids that they shouldn't ever forget.
Again, condolences on your loss, but glad you have 6+ years of great memories instead of regrets. Take care, it's a big loss.
