Is it actually carpet or is it a fuzzy cloth with foam behind it? On my 95 Brave I redid the complete ceiling because the foam deteriorated and the ceiling started sagging. After I scrapped all the old ceiling cloth and foam from the luan I used type 77 contact cement (spray cans) and headliner material as a replacement.
