Salem area or Pahrump?
Hey good folks, We're trying to sell our house so it looks like we won't be headed to Arizona for the winter. That said, what are your thoughts on the Salem, Oregon area to winter or Pahrump, NV?...

For snow birding RVers in the winter I would Recommend:
1. Salem or Pahrump would not be my choices. Salem will be cold and wet. Pahrump will be cold and windy:(:(:(
2. I would choose Indio, Palm Springs areas for snowbirding. The weather is nice, many RV parks to choose from, many sights to visit and their are Casinos.
And of course, you have the reasonably priced RV parks and inexpensive fuel in California. Pahrump has very mild winters and friendly people.
