There are pros and cons to both; it just depends on what YOUR use is going to be. I drove Cs for nearly 20 years, and they were fine. However, I'm now in an A, and would never (yeah right, never say never!) go back. The A provides much more interior space, much more storage, bigger tanks (fuel, water, black, grey, LPG), and more towing capacity. And within the first trip, I got used to the additional size, and much prefer the higher seating with better visibility. For ME, it's a no brainer.
BUT...I'm not you. You can listen to the salesman's reasoning, but don't let him convince you that certain "reasons" are more important than others. Only you can decide what's important and what's not.
