Salton Sea
I have always been somewhat fascinated by the Salton Sea and it's history. I am heading that way(not in the RV) and was thinking about cutting over and checking it out. In trying to find info online...

I see lots of photographers on the east side where there are 4 campgrounds to choose from. The sunsets are nice, the birds skimming the water's surface are amazing, and the smell isn't too bad until you get near the water...at least in winter months.
