Salton Sea
I have always been somewhat fascinated by the Salton Sea and it's history. I am heading that way(not in the RV) and was thinking about cutting over and checking it out. In trying to find info online...

The community has built a lovely small museum at the Salton Sea Boat Marina. We were there 2 years ago when it was opening, hope they have been able to keep it up. And yes, the whole area downwind stinks.
