Samson China Made Tires ?

I purchased a whole new set of Samsons a few months ago for my rig. They too are 2012 tires. So far, no problems. I think they are good tires. I will let yall know if I run into any problems. Happy travels!

So far all my searching on the net no one has posted any issues at all with these tires, even heard some school districts are using them on school buses, I guess these Samson tires are going to stay till they reach 6 years old, heck if they turn out to be a good all around tire I might be sold and my next set of tires might be China made..

The bashing is blind political nonsense for the most part. There are a considerable number of brands of tires on the roads today in America that are made in China. My first MH tires were made in China, they were Toyo's. I have had Cooper's that were made in China on daily drivers and MH's with no problems. Last weekend I was picking a friend up at one of the truck stops here in town, on his rig he's got Samson's when I asked why his reply was they are the best value for the buck and his truckin' is all about money. Just because something is stamped 'Made in USA' does not mean it is any good.

Yes this is all I could find about the tires was from the OTR forums, seems as if there are being used on motorhomes more and more, the dealer where I bought my motorhome seem to have put these tires on all motorhomes on his lot.

The date on tires are week 32 2012, they are spanking brand new.

I too just replaced my tires in my 2000 Diplomat with Samson. No issues with performance.

However, the salesman at Camping World was clueless. He was telling us that they are made in Georgia, and it a great American Product. He was SO enthusiastic! Until I brought him over to the tire and pointed out the 'Made in China' stamp. I told him I was sorry, and that he needs to go back through training.

I ran 19.5 Samson tires on my Monaco with ZERO issues.

I would say that I felt the need to protect them from UV/Sun and I only ran them for 2 years before selling the rig but for the time I had them they were excellent.

There is so much BS written on this subject from people who only have a snapshot view (usually media fueled) of the matter. From my experience, and the fact that I have never seen a recall on Samson tires, and that many tire dealers sell them, I would use them again if the need arose.
