My new to me 2008 Bounder 32W came with 6 new Samson China tires installed by the dealer, he said they had a good rating and being used on tractor trailers and such for years now with no recalls.They do run smooth and not much noise issue, but also am concerned with the China bomb tire issues I have heard about, should I look at replacing them soon down the road or just keep them for 5-6 years and than replace..Did a internet search and not much info about them as to longevity. :)

Just trust your TPMS and you should be fine. I do however feel that the Maxxis is the best trailer tire at the present time.

Check the construction date on the tires They may not be new just unused.

I have researched the Samson tire, talked to local OTR companies that are running them and all I am hearing are good reports. I plan on giving them a try, when I replace my tires and the local tire dealer quoted me $375 out the door, which is a very good price for 275/70R22.5.

I ran 19.5 Samson tires on my Monaco with ZERO issues.I would say that I felt the need to protect them from UV/Sun and I only ran them for 2 years before selling the rig but for the time I had them they were excellent.There is so much BS written on this subject from people who only have a snapshot view (usually media fueled) of the matter. From my experience, and the fact that I have never seen a recall on Samson tires, and that many tire dealers sell them, I would use them again if the need arose.
