That time of year there is always a possibility of Ice storms across I 10and I20, just watch the weather.
A few high places like Sierra Blanca and near the I10 and I20 split are more prone to Icing and always remember that the bridges freeze before the roadway, they can be more of a problem if you are not use to driving in cold climates.

As a retired OTR driver I have seen a lot wrecks on dry pavement just after a small bridge. So just be aware those hidden dangers, they will definitely bring on the pucker factor.
