Don't rule out the use of your BATWING OTA Antenna for picking up the Digital National Broadcast Network from the local towns...
This is what we use full time now and have great results all over the places where we camp at. This is free to the public and offers digital full high def TV reception... Each station is allowed up to six channels so alot of old movies and usually a 24/7 WX RADAR station is available as well.
This was always my PLAN B when other methods failed. Since the Natl Broadcast now has changed over to digital HDTV we have stopped bringing along our spare SAT RX and Dish tripods from the house account etc... We get our HDTV fill just fine and it doesn't cost us a penny haha...
