I tried ganging two together. Had nothing but problems. Some fields would display, others would not. No rhyme or reason. Ended going back to a single unit.

The Ultraguage does not work with a Diesel not does thee other version discussed (APP).

So the Scanguage D, works with the diesel. I mainly used it for the digital info on water temp.

The mileage works along with the trip function. However you will need to calibrate the tank along with the gallons used. The fuel mileage signal comes from the ECU, but will not be really accurate. This is due to there is no fuel flowmeter inline. So this is a assumption based on fuel flow calculations from the cntroller.

However that being said, if you work with it the milage can get close, for total and daily mileage good.

The latest version has a problem when in the A/B trip, when you hit the 3700 miles (total) it will start counting backwards. Scan Guage is working on this.

Much better than a scan gauge. If you don't want to tie up your phone, you can buy someone else's used android on Craigslist for about $40 or so.

I've had II for 5 years and have appreiated very much. I use it mostly for MPG is on the road but is works as advertised for other data.

If Campng World's is the model II & the shipping is less than $10.00 it's at a good price.

I have had a Scan Gauge II for a few years now, have used it on three vehicles and like it allot!! Right now I monitor instant mpg,Engine temp,horse power percentage,Load on Engine. You can scroll thru and monitor anything that is available on OBD2.
Crazy thing is,, I have it on my 2012 Sliverado, but it wouldn't work on my 2008 Impala SS??Also works good to calculate MPG's but takes allot of input.. Have to enter info at every fuel up.

Ours saved catrostophic damage to our old F350, so yes worth every penny. It is now in our new truck.
