Schematics for water line

Does anybody know where I might find the schematics or layout of water lines in an older bounder ?
I have a 1992 Bounder and would like to put in fresh water lines. It's not leaking but because it's old and I'm putting in new flooring,sinks,etc...
I decided I'd replace the water lines to avoid a water issue later
Being there original waterlines and 23 years old I like to replace them.
Or do I need layouts ?
Thanks for any insight

  • You will need the FIN (Fleetwood Identification Number) not the VIN when you call Fleetwood. There is a sticker below the drivers window, on the outside, with the number on it.

  • I did buy PEX, and all the connectors and tools....
Thanks to everyone for their help and advise
  • Definitely use PEX. The other alternatives, including CPVC, will split if the water lines ever freeze while camping or while the coach is stored. PEX is also very flexible and can handle the shock of the vehicle bouncing down American highways.
  • Fleetwood closed their CA facilities along time ago! Just call the Fleetwood tech support#.

  • I found that Fleetwood's utility layout drawings were rather generic. It would show the ends(faucets, shower heads. etc.) but not how the pipes routed. I had to totally re-plumb mine and found the runs to be simple. Once you get into it, everything is easy to get to but still time consuming. Most folks will recommend PEX. I did it the old cpvc way.

FLEETWOODS really long number would be called the VIN NUMBER.

JAYCO does this as well and these drawings are on PDF's so you will get an instant respond via email with the drawing.
