Schwintek Slides, are these new on the market ?

These are sort of new on the market for slide outs, seen them on full wall slides and they have lots of issues, just trying to warn new buyers about the issues, why manufactures don't stay with the tried and proven systems and move into something that is only going to cause warranty issues and not so happy customers in the future..

But than again I guess I just here about the bad ones but might be many happy customers with these type of slides.

not sure what point you are trying to make but we have a Newmar and have never had a slide issue. As I recall Newmar was the one that really started the slide revolution back in the 90's. Glad you like power gear but I prefer we HWH and Newmar.

Slides have gotten better over the years but these new ones are going to bring a sour image to slide out issues, glad mine are the Power Gear electric brand..
